Clara Auguste

Born in Haiti and raised in Miami, Florida, Clara Auguste is an emerging choreographer and dance artist. She is currently pursuing a Master of Fine Arts in Choreographic Inquiry at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), World Arts and Cultures/Dance department. In Spring 2017 she received her B.A. in Dance from Hunter College. Clara has worked with a number of artists in NYC as a project-based dancer. She has danced with KaNu Dance Theater/Jessica St. Vil as a company member and has performed with Katelyn Halpern and Dancers, Candace Thompson-Zachery/Dance Caribbean Collective, Imamou Lele, Mikerline Dance Company, and many more. In 2016, Auguste found Aeternus Dance Company as a means to explore and share pieces that delve deeper within the realms of the human condition and human experiences as they relate to the social, spiritual, and political worlds.

Solange Buon

Solange Buon is a fierce leader, and an exquisite and talented artist, dancer, and student. She is to graduate from Hunter College in the Fall semester with her Bachelors in Dance and Studio Art. A nature enthusiast as well, she is currently working at Storm King Art Center which is helping her pursue her passion in the arts as well as being environmentally equipped. She has performed with Aeternus Dance Company since 2016 and has contributed numerous insights throughout the creative process.

Itålÿ B. Welton

Italy Bianca is an emerging dance artist based in Harlem, NY. She has danced several project-based pieces with Aeternus Dance Company. She is a graduate of Coker College (SC) where she received a B.A. Dance Education and Dance Performance and Choreography. She also trained at the Joffrey Ballet School in their Jazz and Contemporary program.  She believes dancing is the transformational healing of our personal and collective traumas and aspires to offer this gift through community art. She has also worked in arts-integrated programs as a Teaching Artist for various school systems and outreach organizations. project based, she has had the opportunity to perform with, Asha Dance Company, Fiyah Theater and Marguerite Hemmings. Italy focuses on creating work that portrays the rawest layers of human experiences alongside other local dancers and musicians. Bianca’s passion led her to explore many avenues as an artist, educator, and advocate.
